Dr. Olga Thurman

Dr. Thurman was born and raised in Russia where she received her doctoral dental degree in 1995. She has practiced dentistry for 6 years in her native country before she moved to the Unites States in 2001. She enjoyed living in a new environment but soon realized that she missed her profession terribly.

Dr. Thurman decided to pursue a dental career in the US and got accepted to the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry where she successfully graduated in 2006.

Dr. Thurman has been an associate of Den-Care Smile Center since 2006. She describes herself as a caring and versatile doctor who enjoys all parts of dentistry. Her favorite part of being a dentist is working with people. In her opinion, dentistry is not just about relieving pain, or improving a smile. To her dentistry is about having trustful relationships with patients, watching kids get older, and sharing laughter. She is very approachable and gentle.

Dr. Thurman lives with her husband and dog in Lake Villa, Illinois. She is an enthusiastic traveler with over 20 countries visited in the last 10 years. She also enjoys international cuisine and likes to explore new cultures. She is very interested in World history, with particular interest in the French and British Kingdoms of the Middle Centuries. As her guilty pleasure she especially enjoys watching reality television shows.
